Learning is something we all do and will continue to do all of our lives. When we are young our parents, teachers, and other adults have a lot to do with what we learn and how we learn it. Now that you are in college, its time for you to take control of your own learning.
Oh sure, your going to get a syllabus for every class and the instructor will give you assignments and tests that you MUST complete. There will be ground rules and the instructor will usually outline objectives that must be met to successfully complete the course. Many students think this is all that matters. They simply follow exactly what the instructor says
and do only what is required.
But this is just the beginning. Now you know what is expected and what the instructor deems "Important."
